some of canada's finest, great lake swimmers, will be playing at inkonst in malmö tomorrow (thursday) evening. i think they've made some pretty rad stuff so i encourage you to come along. it's slow, folkish music not entirely different from acts such as nick drake and bonnie 'prince' billy. one need not venture too far from the truth to compare them to damien rice either. check things out here and let me know if you want to come with me. perhaps you'd like to hear some of their tunes before agreeing to dish out a whopping 85:- to go see a band in the middle of the week? no need to cut and paste their name into google, for i provide you here with their myspace page. pitchfork has reviewed their first album here; they were also generous enough to provide a free song!

I'm not too keen about going to Inkonst right now. Last time I went there (30th of April) I got no further than the queue, in which I spent at least half an hour before random guy x decided it was a good idea to headbutt my face. With a split lip and quite a generous amount of blood, the evening proceeded with a looong visit to the hospital, waiting for a doctor to stitch me up. Alas, if I had only known such injuries needn't be sewn, I could have gone home much earlier...
So, no Inkonst for me, I think :)
eftersom jag jobbar, och det är sån där helig eurovision ikväll, så kan jag inte heller, men oavsett. kanske det skönaste inlägget. bra fulländning liksom. länkning är bloggandets byggsten.
markus: i can only condemn the actions of random guy x and respect your decision. you make a convincing argument. but, i've got a feeling it won't be nearly as crowded as on the 30th and hopefully less filled with headbutters.
em: jag har undvikit esc så gått det går de senaste åren. jag läste ditt inlägg om det och förstår vad du menar och vad det är som är grejen, men...det är inget för mig, inte längre. när det var mer österrikiska och grekiska kärleksballader så var det lite mer lockelse i det.
jag brukar inte länka så mycket, det är så jobbigt att hålla på att leta upp sidor, men ibland går jag all out. eller all in. jag vet inte vilket.
